These two gals are some of the loveliest people I know and I was so happy to be able to spend an afternoon capturing their love. Helen is one of those special people that just lights up the world, it’s so easy to fall in love with her and you have to be very special in your own right to earn her love and Laura is just that person. 

Both Helen and Laura are from the UK but met here in Queenstown. Laura was living in this beautiful part of the world when Helen met her on a holiday from Australia. Helen knew that Laura was the one and made the move to New Zealand, and that decision was the best decision she could make!

These two ladies absolutely adore each other and once you have spent more than a few minutes with them you know it’s true love. They also love surprising each other with tokens of affection in the most special way. A year before this shoot Laura surprised Helen with a boat trip for her birthday, and on that boat trip, just off this spot in Kelvin Heights Laura proposed with the perfect ring, what a great way to celebrate a birthday with your true love!

 

I sure hope I don’t have to wait too long to see these two wed, not only will it be stunning (I mean just look at them), but it will also be a good laugh, these two know how to have a good time! We sure had a good time on this shoot, from my boot being filled with the freezing lake water, to Helen having a laugh 🙂
