Joel & Laura got married on a beautiful autumn day in Queenstown in Joel’s parents back yard. The autumn colours of Queenstown are always so stunning and it gave the perfect back drop for the special day. Laura’s laugh is truly infectious and Joel’s love for her is so pure. Joel’s dad described the perfect day when he said it wasn’t the joining of two families but creating one new big family

 

All the colours of autumn in Queenstown are just such a perfect backdrop of a wedding and the beautiful claret bridesmaids dresses where in true harmony with the surroundings.

Joel’s family property is located in Tucker Beach along the Shotover river so it was only fitting we walked down to the historic Shotover bridge.

Thurlby Domain is a favourite location for local photographers and with all the historic backdrops and stunning colours it is easy to see why! I was so glad to hear Joel and Laura wanted to have photos done here before their reception at the Lake Hayes pavilion.
